Teaching Methods

The lectures are grounded in teaching techniques aimed at a teaching / participatory learning:

• Formulation of goals

• Use of handouts

• Structuring the lesson from the analysis of a problem

• Placement of issues which promote the reasoning

• Discussion after exposure

• Exposure complemented by brief summary final

The exposure technique of lectures is guided by the theme of the lesson, active / interactive methodology is used whenever possible.

Learning Outcomes

To apply the concepts of toxicology in current practice.

- Know how to choose and develop themes of work in the area of chemistry and toxicology and Esplana them in groups.

- Making contact with other areas of Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences, eg, Biology and Forensic Genetics, Forensic Pathology, among others.

Metals, volatile compounds, ethanol, drugs of abuse, pesticides, etc..

Or based on decisions / creativity of the students themselves.
