Recommended Prerequisites

The student should have basic knowledge of english considering the international context of the curricular unit and as most technical references are in english.

Teaching has a face-to-face component, mas emphasis is given to self-learning enabling students to autonomous scientific work.

Learning Outcomes

It is intended that students acquire scientific knowledge in the specific area of the curricular unit and be able to apply them in ithe critical discussion of other projects and in the preparation of innovative research proposals.

The program includes the presentation and discussion of edge knowledge within the specific area of this curricular unit. Empahsis is given to conceptual and technical innovations as well as its application in current research. Due to the nature of this curricular unit, frequent adjustments to the program are welcome.
