Teaching Methods
The unit is organized in seminars presented by invited researchers and in presentation and discussion of the 'work in progress' developed by students. Students must attend the seminars scheduled and participate in its discussions. Students must deliver a seminar report with ca. 30 pages, based on the topics covered in the seminars, or a short report from each of the seminars, each with 5 pages, or to prepare an oral prersentation follow by a written work about the ongoing research.
Learning Outcomes
This course aims to encourage students to deepen their critical skills based on their own search work for the 3rd cycle, encouraging them to discuss comparable problems.

The syllabus of this unit consist of a series of seminars presented by invited researchers, from Portuguese and foreigners institutions, in order to raise awareness and discuss recent research in the field of Biological Anthropology and related fields. The seminars are followed by discussions with the participation of the students.
