Teaching Methods

Teaching in the classroom:

- Explanation of the issues under discussion with students (student-teacher and student-student).

- Use of virtual laboratories developed by the teacher to demonstrate the concepts

- Conducting group work

- Resolution of exercises

- Discussion of Case Studies.

Learning Outcomes

1. To know the technical, regulatory and regulations related to several areas of analysis of indoor environmental quality;

2. Ability to integrate information on various aspects relevant to the piecemeal environmental quality indoors (indoor air quality, thermal environment, noise, vibration, lighting).

3. Ability to perform diagnostics of the quality of the indoor environment and propose improvement measures.

4. Ability to integrate knowledge related to the Indoor Environmental Quality in professional activities related to design, construction, installation, operation, licensing, and maintenance of buildings and systems.

5. Ability to act as agents of dissemination of knowledge related to the discipline, notably through awareness of the need to harmonize the concerns about indoor environmental quality with the need for rational use of energy.
