Learning Outcomes
Multimedia production requires the interaction of a diverse set of experts with varied job profiles and presents a complex blend of creativity and technology, which introduces a continuous tension between different actors, goals and communication styles. The aim of this course is to provide the acquisition of knowledge and skills essential to the design, management and evaluation of multimedia projects, covering aspects of the specification, teams, task planning, execution management, monitoring and evaluation.

1. Defining a multimedia project. Requirements and vision, communicating with the client in the early stages. Job description, briefing, proposals, monitoring, development and implementation.
2. Defining content. The role of content in multimedia projects. Specificity of the content production process. Copyright and management of online contents.
3. From content to the interface: deciding the means, treatment and main metaphor.
4. The multimedia teams: the role of each specialty. Team Management, reporting mechanisms and monitoring. Specific risks of multimedia projects.
5. Personal development: the manager and the team. Management styles. Tools.
