1^st cycle and other courses of the plan of studies of the Masters in Urban Fire Safety.

Teaching Methods

The teaching method in this course is merely expository by speakers, and students must elaborate a final paper about a topic versed in the exposures.

This project of thesis project type work must ultimately be presented and defended before teacher and colleagues.

Learning Outcomes

This curricular unit will be composed by a set of lectures given by Professors of the teaching staff of the Master that may be available to guide students. These lectures aim to give student a set of information that will allow the approach to some subjects that, by their size, do not justify having its own autonomy to constitute an autonomous unit and can be used by students as topic in thesis.

The main objective of this curricular unit is to prepare students for their master's thesis and it is expected that constitute the first part of it, considering that when they enter fully in the thesis they have already the state of the art completed.

At the end of this curricular unit students should be knowledgeable about the state of the art of the theme they intend to develop the thesis, had planned the scientific work and prepared a scientific text that constitutes their Seminar.
