Teaching Methods

The classes will include presentations and the projection of films (or excerpts) and discussions that enable the sustained participation of students.

Learning Outcomes

1) Understanding the aesthetic diversity of cinema from the last years of the 1920s and 1960s - as well as its social and original cultural contexts.

2) Knowledge of theoretical writings that accompanied such aesthetic practices.
