Teaching Methods

The curricular unit will operate as a Seminar: presentation of content, clarification of doubts, response to objections and comments, guidance of tasks by teachers; preparation, presentation and debate of tasks by students.
The evaluation will be periodic. The mandatory assessment vectors are: the preparation and presentation of the structure of the bibliographic and documentary research work (15'), the preparation and delivery of a bibliographic and documentary research work (15p. of text and notes), the preparation and delivery of a critical review (7p. of text). Informal participation in classes, the preparation and delivery of observation reports are also encouraged; the organization of and participation in scientific events, study visits, etc.

Learning Outcomes

The aim is to publicize the existence and characteristics of museology as a technological area of knowledge and intervention; highlight their correlation with historiography, archaeology, other social sciences and humanities; draw attention to the importance of the structuring, implementation and evaluation stages of museum projects and programs.

It will be possible to acquire skills to recognize the existence and potentialities of cooperation between museology, historiography, archeology, other social sciences and humanities; the importance of initial investment in structuring, implementing and evaluating museum projects and programs.
