Teaching Methods

Working sessions are organized so as to enhance collective discussion. The debates are based on: a) exposition of concepts and methodologies by the lecturers; b) selected readings; c) information related to case studies; d) presentations of professional experiences by external guests. Students are actively involved in the discussion, which focuses on the confrontation between theoretical and methodological content and concrete situations taken from the current reality in the fields of cultural programming and heritage management. The active participation of students is stimulated by integrating in the debate the issues raised by the projects they will have to develop within the scope of the course.

Learning Outcomes

1. Develop theoretical and methodological knowledge and analytical capacity on the dynamics of the fields of culture and cultural heritage;
2. Detect opportunities for developing projects in the areas of culture and cultural heritage;
3. Build methodologies for structuring, implementing and evaluating cultural and cultural heritage projects.
4. Reflect on the importance of communication strategies and socio-cultural mediation in cultural heritage projects.
