Recommended Prerequisites
Completion of all the 1st-year courses of the program.
Teaching Methods
Students will give oral presentations on the texts they have read, relating them to their teaching experience, and will present possible teaching strategies to be applied, which will be commented on in class. The results of applying the strategies and other issues arising from teaching practice will also be presented and discussed in class, addressing topics that require clarification or consolidation. The final assignments, subject to review and comment by the teacher, will be provisional versions of chapters of the report.
Learning Outcomes
Students are expected to:
- Deepen and consolidate knowledge and skills in the fields of teaching and of the specific didactics of German, especially in the context of the didactical-pedagogical subject chosen for their research;
- Extract from appropriate bibliography, favoring German sources, information relevant to their subject;
- Apply in a critical manner the knowledge obtained from relevant literature, articulate it with previous knowledge and with the experience of the traineeship and present possibilities for its application in their teaching practice;
- Reflect on their teaching practice and assess the application of teaching strategies and their results, in order to prepare their final reports, but also for the overall development of their teaching skills, acknowledging the importance of continuing that process;
- Present their research in a coherent and methodologically correct manner.

- Presentation and discussion of the information researched on the didactic-pedagogical themes chosen by the students;
- Presentation and comment of the didactic proposals to be applied in class;
- Reflection on the practical application of those didactic strategies and assessment of their results; reflection on other issues relevant to teaching practice;
- Organizing the final report with a coherent and methodologically correct presentation, balancing the different sections and linking theoretical information with the description and assessment of practical exemples.
