Training course – Advanced technologies for water and wastewater treatment
General Objectives of the Course
Raise awareness of the impact of water pollution on ecosystems in general and on human health in particular; Understand the problems associated with water scarcity and contamination; Know the analytical techniques for monitoring and measuring contaminants in water; Provide means of information about the legal framework related to water quality; Provide the necessary tools in terms of theoretical concepts and calculation procedures within the context of selecting and designing equipment for water and wastewater treatment; Discuss the importance of integrating technologies for solving complex problems.Admission Requirements
Target audience: Researchers, PhD students, technicians, stakeholders and other professionals with an academic degree in sciences with interest for the treatment of water and industrial wastewater.
