Specialization Course - Clinical Nutrition
General Objectives of the Course
General objectives: Prepare trainees for the acquisition of skills in the prevention of serious eating disorders, in the orientation of nutritional therapy as a support for medical treatments in the most diverse pathologies and for research in the area of nutrition.Secondary objectives:
a) Apply the knowledge of nutrition in the prevention and resolution of pathological situations, integrating multidisciplinary teams;
b) Solve complex issues, develop solutions or express opinions, and reflect on the ethical, deontological and social implications and responsibilities related to nutrition; c) Elaborate projects, develop them and communicate the conclusions of the work; d) Demonstrate the ability to educate and train people at levels other than health professionals who can disseminate the rules of Healthy Nutrition;
e) Have skills for lifelong learning.
Admission Requirements
Holders of an bachelor/integrated master or legal equivalent in the areas of Nutrition Sciences, Dietetics, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing or others considered appropriate by the course coordinator.
