Specialization Course Cognitive Neuroscience Research
General Objectives of the Course
The aim of this specialization course is to provide students with training, with a strong emphasis on hands-on with real data and projects, in the area of basic Cognitive Neuroscience (i.e., not applied/clinical) – training that currently does not exist at the University of Coimbra - namely the possibility of learning how to do research in cognitive neuroscience, and understanding the most innovative techniques. That is, this specialization course aims to provide its students with the necessary tools to do innovative research in Cognitive Neuroscience – namely programming in the area of cognitive neuroscience, essential and innovative techniques in this area, and research project experience. This is an extremely important tool for those who want to follow a research career in Neuroscience – the most central area in the best ranked Psychology Departments in international rankings – and do a PhD in this area.Admission Requirements
