Training Course CAD-CAM in The Clinical Practice - From Planning an Designing to Milling an Boding of Indirect Restoration

General Objectives of the Course

Allow the students to aquire knowlege to plan, design, mill, finish and cement ceramic indirect restorations with the aid of CAD-CAM technology.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

Grading on a scale of 0 to 20. 70% corresponding to continuos evaluation, 30% corresponding to written evaluation under the format of a final written exam.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

a) Recognize the clinical indications of different types of ceramic restorations for CAD-CAM processing on anterior and posterior teeth.
b) Knowledge the Concept of biocopy, biogeneric reference, mirroring.
c) Perform techniques for obtaining morphology using digital software inLab SW 15 Basic e and methods of digital impressions using the Cerec Omnicam Camera.
d) Treat edentulous patients with ceramic restorations using the CAD-CAM workflow from planning and designing to milling and bonding of indirect restorations.

Participants should be Dentists registered in OMD.
