Specialization Course in MBA for Executives
General Objectives of the Course
The program aims to combine the technical skills and the diversity of each participant’s experiences, with the strengthening of their human and conceptual skills. An open and highly flexible architecture allows conciliating the search for a general training program with the highest specialization needs. It is intended that the course is developed in a dynamic and distended environment, based on group work and on the development of a collective spirit that increases the participant’s motivations and allows them to maximize the results achieved. May apply for access to MBA for Executives: a) Holders of university degree or legal equivalent with more than three years of relevant professional experience; b ) In duly justified cases , may apply to the frequency of the course, scientific or professional curriculum holders whose merit is recognized by the course coordination, thereby attesting the capacity of the candidates to complete the course.

Regulation n.º. 339/2012, August 7Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The final evaluation of each course unit is expressed by a classification in a numeric scale from 0 to 20. The course’s final grade is obtained through the weighted arithmetic average (rounded to the nearest unit) of the compulsory and elective course units, having the ECTS number as a weighted factor. The courses’ final grade is expressed in the range of 10-20 of the numerical integer scale 0 to 20, as well as its equivalent in the European comparability scale of classification. The final course classification is associated to a qualitative mention, expressed in terms of 10 to 13 – Sufficient, 14 and 15 – Good, 16 and 17 – Very Good and 18 to 20 – Excellent.Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
The program enables its students to acquire a broad base of management knowledge and skills that enables them to:i) lead themselves and others in the achievement of organizational goals;
ii) think critically and make decisions based on complex information;
iii) maximize resources for the benefit of organizations and society;
iv) know and understand organizations and their stakeholders;
v) integrate functional knowledge and apply strategic management skills at a senior level in changing business environments;
vi) analyze complex data, understanding the financial implications of managerial decision-making.
