General Objectives of the CourseThe master's degree in biokinetics allows to extend the training of graduates in an applied area, valuing therefore and enhancing its graduate and professional opportunities. Deepening scientific knowledge in sport science, in parallel with the development and refinement of skills in the context of specialized training in physical activity in motion. This proposal will take to solve problems working in a profession that the capacity for self-learning skills are linked to in-depth research.
The course also seeks a specialist preparation for the application of knowledge in multidisciplinary settings for professional application on the study of motion, such as postural adjustments to improve performance of physical exercise, or even in complementary areas such as physical activity, for example, the ergonomic posture.
Learning Objectives and Intended SkillsThe course aims to deepen the scientific knowledge in sport science, in parallel with the development and refinement of skills in the context of specialized training in the movement inherent in physical activity. This course will serve to solve problems working in a profession that the capacities for self-learning skills are integrated with in-depth research. The course also aims at a specialist preparation for the application of knowledge and skills in multidisciplinary settings of professional intervention in applying the study of motion in the context of sport, such as postural adjustments to improve performance of physical exercise, and complementary areas of physical activity such as postural ergonomics.
The Competences are operationalized through the order of teaching the courses of the study plan that are intended to provide further information on growing. These competences are monitored by the success rate of students and their grades obtained.
