•Development of techniques for Academic and Professional presentations•Exercises in pronunciation, articulation and voice projection
•Overcoming the fear of public speaking in a foreign language
•Conversation – various topics: Understanding better what others are saying
•Learning to express yourself clearly, quickly, and in the correct manner
•Expanding and developing your vocabulary
•Appearing as a more confident person with better conversational skills
•Encouraging communication and interaction in pairs or groups based on everyday situations.
•Writing abstracts in English
•Preparation and participation in academic seminars

As a rule, continuous assessment is the preferred evaluation mode: this requires 75% attendance and completion of two tests. Other elements, such as class participation, homework and tasks performed throughout the course, are also taken into account for evaluation. At the end of each level, students can request the corresponding certificate, if the course has been successfully completed.
