Dutch Language and Culture I
General Objectives of the Course
It is intended that students will learn to communicate in everyday situations. Oral communication will be especially important.The student will learn grammar basic rules and vocabulary.The presentation of the Netherlands and Belgium: geography, history, culture and literature will take some of the classes.

Successful course completion supposes the realization of all the proposed activities, the evaluation is expressed in a final grade on a scale of 0-20 points. Minimal pass grade is 10 points.Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

As a rule, continuous assessment is the preferential regime to assess our students’ knowledge which requires 75% attendance and completion of two assessment tests. Other elements such as class participation, homework and tasks performed throughout the course, are also taken into account for evaluation. At the end of each level, students can request the corresponding certificate, if the course has been successfully completed.
