General Objectives of the Course
The XXIII Annual Meeting proposes to be a prominent event in 2014 having as a major objective to provide theoretical and practical, differentiated information in the context of Dentistry and Stomatology. This event aims to highlight the multidisciplinarity of the areas of dentistry, in the context of orofacial traumatology. All conferences have been judiciously chosen for the logical approach in medical and dental trauma from the initial phase of diagnosis to the implementation of treatment and medical-legal framework plan. We consider as a specific objective to disseminate cutting-edge technology with regard to registration and radiographic devices, with reference to the cone beam computed tomography. Still intend for the opportunity to broadcast in real time, to make known different surgical procedures with the appropriate theoretical framework. Lastly, we intend to disclose some scientific works in the form of oral communications and posters, frameworking the Erasmus students in programs of the University of Coimbra.
Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
• Knowledge of some surgical procedures adjusted to a differentiated clinical practice;
• Development clinical spirit, critical in addressing the orofacial trauma patient;
• Integrate the distinct fields of dentistry in the context of orofacial trauma and medical-legal framework
• Optimize the use and viability of the cone beam computed tomography in clinical practice.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Regulation n.º 339/2012, published in Official Gazette no. 152, 2. Grade, August 7th (Regulation of Creation and Operation of non-degree courses at the UC).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Approved or disapproved over the length of the stay in the auditorium / theater. Considering approved when attending at least 70% of total stay.
