General Objectives of the Course
The main objective of this course is to publicize the new system of responsible industry as a legal instrument to promote sustainable industrial development in a context of transparency, participation and simplification and provide the auditors applied knowledge of this legal rgeime in areas such as administrative procedure, (new and traditional) forms of administrative decisions, the court proceedings relating to disputes, acts and litigation and the tax regime of administrative sanctions.
Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
To know the innovative aspects of the responsible industry system (transparency, participation and simplification) and the obligations of the operators, the administration and citizens; to recognize the importance of the new legal instrument as a lever for sustainable industrial development; to understand the use of indicators as instruments to operationalize the system; to understand instruction procedures and all procedures, means of administrative and judicial review of administrative action, the types of taxes and the legal paths for contesting illegalities, as well as the applicable sanctions and their means of reaction.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations
Regulation n.º 339/2012, published in Official Gazette no. 152, 2. Grade, August 7th (Regulation of Creation and Operation of non-degree courses at the UC).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
The final grade for each student will take into account their participation in course activities and results obtained in the tests and assignments that will be proposed throughout the course. The classification will be expressed in a qualitative scale: Sufficient; Good, Very Good, Excellent.
