Training Course in Microsoft Excel supporting decision making

General Objectives of the Course

At the end of this course, the participants should have the ability to use Microsoft Excel as advanced users, as a decision support tool, being able to structure the spreadsheet and using it for problem solving.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

The final grade for each student will take into account their participation in course activities and results obtained in the tests and assignments that will be proposed throughout the course. The classification will be expressed in a qualitative scale: Not Approved; Sufficient; Good, Very Good

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

Ability to organize and structure the data in a spreadsheet. Design and implementation of spreadsheets for data analysis.

Qualification Requirements and Regulations

Graduation Requirements

Keeping in mind the intended learning objectives, a more practical methodology will be prefered, with the aid of examples of practical application. This will help students to acquire and consolidate problem resolution skills using Excel.
