General Objectives of the CourseThis course aims to develop spoken and written French language within the professional environment. Especially recommended for students who already work in the area of hotel industry and Restoration or are entering in the professional life.
Learning Objectives and Intended SkillsAt the end of the course, trainees will be able to:
- Talk about their professional activities and their studies;
- Talk about their workplace;
- Strengthen, improve and enhance their spoken and written skills debating and discussing current issues of professional life.

Qualification Requirements and RegulationsRegulation n.º 339/2012, published in Official Gazette no. 152, 2. Grade, August 7th (Regulation of Creation and Operation of non-degree courses at the UC).
Examination Regulations, Assessment and GradingSuccessful course completion supposes the realization of all the proposed activities; the evaluation is expressed in a final grade on a scale of 0-20 points. Minimal pass grade is 10 points.
- Oral participation in classes
- Realization homework;
- Conducting small evaluation tests.
As a rule, continuous assessment is the preferential regime to assess our students’ knowledge which requires 75% attendance and completion of two assessment tests. Other elements such as class participation, homework and tasks performed throughout the course, are also taken into account for evaluation. At the end of each level, students can request the corresponding certificate, if the course has been successfully completed.
