General Objectives of the Course
Teach the German language in its written and spoken form, both reception and production. The course objectives are oriented by level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and will only be completed at the end of Level II (2nd semester) of Initiation to German Language Course.Admission Requirements

Successful course completion supposes the realization of all the proposed activities, the evaluation is expressed in a final grade on a scale of 0-20 points. Minimal pass grade is 10 points.Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
At the end of level A1, students will have acquired the following language skills: students are supposed to be able to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of specific needs. To be able to introduce themselves to others and answer questions about themselves, about the place where they live, about people they know and the objects that belong to them. Students will be able to interact on an elementary level provided the other person talks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help."Qualification Requirements and Regulations

As a rule, continuous assessment is the preferential regime to assess our students’ knowledge which requires 75% attendance and completion of two assessment tests. Other elements such as class participation, homework and tasks performed throughout the course, are also taken into account for evaluation. At the end of each level, students can request the corresponding certificate, if the course has been successfully completed.
