Specialization Course in Operative Dentistery and Aesthetics

General Objectives of the Course

The aims of the Postgraduate Course of Operative Dentistry and Aesthetics are to empower students with skills in Operative Dentistry and Aesthetics, enabling them to assist differentiated according to the principles of quality, besides contributing to the changes necessary for continuous improvement of the same. The specific aims will be:
a. Diagnose the operative dentistry pathology;
b. Formulate a treatment plan and predict its evolution;
c. Assess the psychological aspects pertaining to the private practice of dentistry;
d. Take interceptive and prophylactic measures;
e. Perform simple and complex treatments;
f. Use all the means at its disposal to improve their training.
g. Encourage development of a scientific attitude to the formulation and stimulation of professional interest;
h. Able to interpret scientific literature;
i. To stimulate research activities and oral and written presentation of scientific results and clinical data.

Admission Requirements

The applicants must have an undergraduate degree, master’s or legal equivalent graduation in the areas of dentistry or medicine (with specialty in stomatology), and have professional experience, preferably.
