General Objectives of the Course

Enable participants to develop digital literacy skills applied to searching, selecting and using scientific evidence to support clinical decision-making.
Recognize the importance of digital literacy in evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making.
Identify credible digital resources for searching scientific evidence, guidelines and clinical recommendations.
Apply basic search strategies in databases and scientific repositories.
Select scientific information that is relevant, up to date and appropriate to the clinical context.
Use the evidence found to support informed, safe and person-centred clinical decisions.
