General Objectives of the Course

The course aims to develop fundamental skills in Crisis Resource Management as applied to clinical practice, promoting improved individual and collective performance in critical situations, and equipping participants to recognize and manage human factors, improve team communication, exercise effective leadership, delegate tasks, utilize available resources appropriately, and make sound decisions under pressure.

Healthcare professionals working in acute, perioperative, critical care, or emergency settings, including medical doctors, residents, and nurses. This course is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to develop or enhance their skills in Crisis Resource Management, with a special focus on clinical crisis management, teamwork, leadership, communication, and decision-making in high-pressure situations. Particularly suitable for professionals working in anesthesiology, the operating room, urgent care, intensive care, emergency medicine, obstetrics, and other highly complex areas.

Identify and mitigate human factors that contribute to errors. Participate in structured debriefings and critical reflection on performance.
