General Objectives of the Course
This course has the overall objective of raising participants' awareness of the importance of open innovation and the value of managing collaborative Research and Innovation (R&I) projects in the context of implementing and managing instruments funded by European Funds. It also aims to provide the knowledge and skills (both hard and soft skills) that will enable them to transform ideas, aligned with integrated development strategies such as RIS3, into collaborative R&I projects with high societal impact.Admission Requirements

(1) Understand policies and funding mechanisms for science and technology within the scope of European Funds;(2) recognize the benefits of collaborative R&I projects for companies, the scientific system, and society;
(3) understand user centered innovation;
(4) facilitate integration into organizational innovation projects and impact generation;
(5) understand early-stage innovation;
(6) understand the process of developing proposals for collaborative R&I projects;
(7) identify critical success factors and constraints;
(8) promote the professionalization of project management within a lifelong learning perspective and as a catalyst for the impact of European Funds;
(9) apply key project management practices and tools throughout the project life cycle;
(10) understand mechanisms for the transfer and valorization of results;
(11) recognize the importance of science communication and the impact of collaborative R&I projects.
