General Objectives of the Course
General Objective: To train specialist nurses in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing to implement the ProLiSMental® psychoeducational intervention for promoting mental health literacy on anxiety, with adolescents and their legal representatives.Specific Objectives:
• Define the concept of mental health and mental health literacy;
• Differentiate the concepts of stress, normative anxiety, and pathological anxiety;
• Identify signs and symptoms of anxiety;
• Identify strategies for promoting mental health and preventing pathological anxiety;
• Demonstrate anxiety management and self-help techniques;
• Demonstrate first aid actions in mental health and seeking formal and informal help.
Admission Requirements
Specialist Nurses in Mental Health and Psychiatric Nursing (to be documented at a later stage), preferably those who work with children and adolescents and/or in primary health care settings. Classification criteria: Order of application and suitability of the professional profile to the nature of the training.

By the end of the course, specialist nurses in mental health and psychiatry will be able to:• Implement the ProLiSMental® psychoeducational intervention to promote mental health literacy on anxiety, with adolescents and their legal representatives.
