General Objectives of the Course

The seminar aims to raise awareness and train healthcare professionals to understand the clinical, social and ethical challenges in migration and volunteering contexts, promoting reflection on good humanitarian intervention practices and ways of working collaboratively, safely and humanely with vulnerable populations.
The seminar will be held online and is aimed at doctors, interns, nurses and other health professionals interested in developing skills in humanitarian medicine, volunteering and intervention in migration contexts.
In this way, the seminar contributes to the advanced training of healthcare professionals, integrating clinical knowledge, professional ethics and humanitarian intervention practices, in line with the modernisation of training and clinical practice, promoting the continuous updating of skills in the face of changes in care contexts, and strengthening the objectives of INNOV2CARE by transforming teaching and learning environments through digital platforms, reinforcing scientific literacy and promoting the continuous updating of skills within a framework of innovation, quality and scientific rigour.
