General Objectives of the Course
The seminar aims to enable healthcare professionals to understand and reflect on the conflict between metrics, integrity and scientific excellence, promoting a critical view of evaluation metrics, pressure to publish and research ethics. It aims to raise participants' awareness of the challenges of reconciling productivity, quality and scientific integrity, encouraging reflection on good publication practices, academic performance evaluation and strategies for maintaining excellence and ethics in scientific research.The seminar will be held online and is aimed at healthcare professionals interested in reflecting on evaluation metrics, integrity and excellence in research. In this way, the seminar contributes to the advanced training of healthcare professionals, promoting safe, ethical and evidence-based practices, in line with the modernisation of training and clinical practice for the future, and strengthening INNOV2CARE's objectives by transforming teaching and learning environments through digital platforms, reinforcing scientific literacy and promoting the continuous updating of skills within a framework of innovation, quality and scientific rigour.
