Training Course in Artificial Intelligence for Sustainability
General Objectives of the Course
- Introduce fundamental AI concepts and their main areas of application (classification, prediction, clustering, etc.).- Present AI tools with accessible interfaces (e.g. no-code/low-code platforms, graphical libraries, online solutions) that enable practical data analysis.
- Present an overview of the application of AI for sustainability, especially in the context of sustainable cities, circular economy, energy transition and operations management.
- Discuss practical examples of the application of AI for sustainability.

Young people and adults who have a degree or are currently attending a degree course in non-STEAM areas.

The student will be able to:- Recognise the main tasks and concepts of AI, understanding where each can be applied.
-Use user-friendly AI tools for data input classification, regression and clustering algorithms.
-Identify advantages in using AI to solve sustainability problems, especially in the context of sustainable cities, circular economy, energy transition and operations management.
-Carry out small exploratory AI projects applied to sustainability problems, identifying opportunities and limitations of tools.
