Enable students to understand the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and
to develop practical skills in using and creating effective prompts, applicable to the academic context, without replacing the role of critical and creative thinking.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

Understanding and using AI tools, with an emphasis on building and applying prompts.
• Understanding the fundamentals of AI: Developing a solid foundation in the principles, functioning, and limitations of AI.
• Ability to formulate practical prompts: Acquiring skills to write prompts, maximizing the usefulness of AI tools in research, analysis, writing, and idea organization tasks.
• Critical thinking in evaluating results: Cultivating the habit of critically analyzing, interpreting, and evaluating the responses generated by AI.
• Creativity in using AI tools: Encouraging the creative use of AI as a complement to the production of original ideas.
• Ethical and reflective awareness of AI use: Reflecting on the social, ethical, and educational impacts of AI use, understanding the importance of using these to support learning.
• Digital autonomy and responsibility: Developing autonomy in choosing and using AI tools.
