General Objectives of the Course

The strategic leadership course for pedagogical innovation in higher education aims above all to stimulate and prepare for institutional change by inspiring leaders and teachers, conceiving pedagogical innovation as a strategic dimension of HEIs and their social responsibility, thus anchoring it in renewed institutional policies considering the changes underway in higher education.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

The aim is for trainees to develop strategic analysis and institutional change management skills, integrating pedagogical innovation practices and initiatives; to learn about national and international experiences and perspectives on the design, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical innovation policies and projects, collaborative leadership and teaching team motivation; improve processes for integrating pedagogical innovation dynamics into curriculum design, interaction with students and learning contexts, and monitoring pedagogical quality indicators and impact measurement.
