Training Course in: Transition Workshop I

General Objectives of the Course

As part of the program to promote academic success and combat dropout rates at
UC (On-Board Plus), this course aims to explore students’ expectations, motivations, and concerns regarding the transition to higher education, clarify the main differences between secondary and higher education, promote self-reflection and informed decision-making, and encourage active engagement and sense of belonging within the UC community.

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading

To pass, participants must attend the full session (2 hours). Attendance is the sole criterion for assessment in this short-format course.

Qualitative assessment with pass/fail grading system.

Reflect on personal expectations, concerns, and motivations regarding the transition to higher education; understand the main differences between secondary and higher
education; recognize the importance of active adaptation and self-responsibility in academic life; identify available resources, services, and strategies to support integration and academic success.
