Arabic Language Course I
General Objectives of the Course
The aim is to enable students to communicate in basic everyday situations and familiarise themselves with the structure and culture of the Arabic language:. Acquire a basic knowledge of the graphic and phonological systems;
. Acquire a basic vocabulary still limited to everyday personal and professional situations;
. Acquire an appropriate level of knowledge of grammatical structures.

ArabicExamination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
Continuous assessment requiring 75% attendance and the accomplishment of two assessment tests. Other elements are also taken into consideration, such as the participation of the student during the classes, the completion of homework, and tasks carried out throughout the course. At the end of each level, it is possible to request the issuance of the respective certificate provided that the student has obtained a successful assessment.
