Training Course - Preservation and Conservation of Information - for teachers
General Objectives of the Course
In the end, students must understand the legal and conceptual framework of information preservation, know the information supports and materials, understand security measures and know how to create information preservation plans.Admission Requirements

The evaluation of the trainees will be made on a quantitative scale, from 1 to 10 values, in accordance with paragraph 6 of Article 4 of Order 4595/2015, of 6 May:- Excellent - from 9 to 10 values;
- Very Good - from 8 to 8.9 values;
- Good - from 6.5 to 7.9 values;
- Regular - from 5 to 6.4 values;
- Insufficient - from 1 to 4.9.
Students will be deemed successful if they obtain a classification equal to or higher than 5/20 and if they attend 2/3 of the specified number of joint contact hours;
At the beginning of the course, the evaluation parameters will be clarified with the trainees.
Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
Conservation Techniques: Acquire skills in physical conservation techniques, such as restoring documents and treating damage caused by environmental factors; Digitization and Reproduction: Master digitization techniques to preserve documents through digital reproductions, ensuring their future accessibility; Conservation Cataloging: Integrate conservation information into cataloging systems, facilitating continuous monitoring and management.Qualification Requirements and Regulations
