General Objectives of the Course
This course has the overall objective of raising participants' awareness of the importance of open innovation and the value of managing collaborative Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I) programs and projects in the context of implementing and managing instruments funded by European Funds. It also aims to provide the knowledge and skills (both hard and soft skills) that will enable them to transform ideas, aligned with integrated development strategies such as RIS3, into collaborative R&D&I programs and projects with high societal impact.Admission Requirements

(1)Understand the policies and different funding mechanisms for science and technology within the framework of instruments funded by European Funds; (2)Recognize the benefits of collaborative R&D&I programs and projects for companies, entities within the national scientific and technological system, and society; (3) Understand user-centered innovation – ideas that grow around societal needs; (4) Understand and facilitate integration into organizational innovation programs and projects, as well as impact generation; (5)Understand startup-phase innovation – ideas that evolve into new organizational initiatives; (6) Learn the process of developing proposals for collaborative R&D&I programs and projects; (7) Identify critical success factors and constraints; (8) Recognize and enhance the professionalization of the management of collaborative R&D&I programs and projects, within a lifelong learning logic, and as a catalyst for the societal impact of the application of European Funds; (9) Apply the main management practices and tools to programs and projects throughout their life cycle; (10) Understand the main mechanisms for transferring and valorizing the results of collaborative R&D&I programs and projects; (11) Recognize the importance of science communication and the impact resulting from collaborative R&D&I programs and projects.Recognition of Prior Learning
Professional experience in entities directly involved in the European funds ecosystem (managing authorities, intermediate bodies, monitoring committee members, and AD&C) and/or in the management of funded collaborative research, development, and innovation projects.Qualification Requirements and Regulations
