Dutch Language and Culture Course II

General Objectives of the Course

It is intended that students will learn to communicate in everyday situations. Spoken communication will be especially important. Students will learn grammar basic rules and vocabulary. It is intended to achieve the A1-A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be aged 16 years or over. Skills in Dutch at level A1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, or successful completion of the Course in Dutch Language and Culture I in the last two years.

0-20 grade.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

Do the shopping, talking about habits and customs, talking about directions, going to the doctor. Grammar: the imperative, words of frequency, possessive pronouns, verb at simple past.

Graduation Requirements

As a rule, the assessment of our student’s knowledge is governed by continuous assessment, which requires 75% attendance and the completion of two assessment tests.
