General Objectives of the Course
The notion of Health Promoting Schools (WHO, UNESCO, UNICEF, 1995) gives schools a decisive role in promoting health and well-being, as favorable spaces for producing positive influences on students' quality of life, with an impact on families. As the intervention of teachers is fundamental to the implementation of this plan, this workshop offers them a holistic approach to physical exercise, healthy eating,well-being and sustainability (RYHEALTH), as pillars for a socially integrated and inclusive intervention by teachers and schools.

The course is aimed at improving teaching and social intervention at the school and is part of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, in terms of promoting quality education, health and the protection of life on Earth. Upon completing the course, teachers must demonstrate: i) knowledge of global reference documents on healthy eating habits, physical exercise, well-being and sustainability; ii) to determine a set of indications for mobilizing students, parents and teachers to strengthen health at school; iii) to produce tools for disseminating the four pillars (healthy eating, physical exercise, wellbeing and sustainability) at school, in work with students and families.Qualification Requirements and Regulations
