General Objectives of the Course

Promote interdisciplinarity;
Promote the exchange of knowledge and pedagogical experiences between teachers at different levels of science education, as well as between them and the scientific community;
Provide favorable environments for the acquisition of new knowledge and scientific updating;
Identify different locations in the national territory where teachers can carry out field activities with their students, inscience teaching;
Get to know the national geological heritage and recognize its scientific and pedagogical importance, particularly its paleontological heritage.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

Plan field visits with students according to the Nir Orion methodology;
Develop practical activities, in the classroom, about fossils and fossilization; Promote activities aimed at conserving nature, in general, and geological heritage, in particular.
