General Objectives of the Course

Define the principles and concepts behind guided surgery in implantology; Explain
the advantages and limitations of guided surgery techniques; Provide hands-on experience in planning implant placement using guided surgery software. Demonstrate the step-by-step process of performing guided implant surgery. Teach surgical techniques for atraumatic tooth extraction and immediate implant placement; Discuss
the role of provisional restorations in immediate implant cases; Recognize the impact of emergence profile on esthetics and function in implant-supported restorations; Familiarize participants with digital impression techniques for capturing soft tissue contours. Introduce various periodontal plastic surgery techniques for soft tissue augmentation; Provide hands-on experience in performing procedures like connective tissue grafts and free gingival grafts.

Admission Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or legal equivalent in Dentistry obtained outside of Portugal, of non-Portuguese nationality and practicing outside of Portugal.
