Training Course Storytelling: an effective tool in education, science communication and educational assessment
General Objectives of the Course
Inform, teach and raise awareness about the importance, content, updating and application of knowledge in Science.Communicate efficiently, being assertive and clear.
Explore new forms of educational and scientific communication.
Contribute to the development of assessment skills, especially in pedagogical assessment, aligned with legal guidelines.
Promote collaborative practices in the construction of pedagogical assessment projects in the classroom.
Admission Requirements
General scope: Although presenting contents and examples in the area of sciences, the course is addressed to teachers and educators from all teaching levels and subject areas. Specific focus: Teachers/educators of Natural Sciences, groups 100, 110, 230 and 520.

Participation in the face-to-face session - 15%; autonomous work - 40%; test and final presentation - 45%.The evaluation of the trainees will be made on a quantitative scale, from 1 to 10 values, in accordance with paragraph 6 of Article 4 of Order 4595/2015, of 6 May:
- Excellent - from 9 to 10 values;
- Very Good - from 8 to 8.9 values;
- Good - from 6.5 to 7.9 values;
- Regular - from 5 to 6.4 values;
- Insufficient - from 1 to 4.9.
Students will be deemed successful if they obtain a classification equal to or higher than 5/20 and if they attend 2/3 of the specified number of joint contact hours;
At the beginning of the course, the evaluation parameters will be clarified with the trainees.
Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
Develop communication skills with any audience.Control the audience to improve communication.
Develop educational resources to support pedagogical assessment projects.
Facilitate the exchange of materials and experiences, clarify doubts and generate pedagogical ideas.
Strengthen formative assessment practices, rubrics, feedback and participation, assessment criteria, and information collection processes.
