Training Course - Mirandese: Linguistics and Didactics
General Objectives of the Course
The course is aimed at those interested in the Mirandese language with higher academic education, with the goal of developing explicit linguistic knowledge about this language. In addition to this objective, the course aims to provide training in Mirandese language didactics that will enable trainees who are also Mirandese speakers and primary and secondary education teachers to teach Mirandese at different levels of education in which it is offered.Admission Requirements

At the end of the course, trainees should be able to: explain the historical formation of Mirandese (point 1 of the syllabus); understand the recent standardization process of Mirandese and identify its most relevant material manifestations (points 1 and 4 of the syllabus); describe, in an explicit way, phonic, morphological and lexical structures of Mirandese (point 3 of the syllabus); identify the variables of the current acquisition context of Mirandese most relevant for the teaching of this language as a school subject (points 2 and 5.1 of the syllabus); become familiar with the instruments that can be used for teaching Mirandese (points 5 and 6 of the syllabus).Course Coordinator(s)
