General Objectives of the Course

Contact with the area of toxicology, through oral exposition and via guided tour of the Institute of Legal Medicine, as well as reflection and discussion of associated subjects.

The final evaluation of the course, on the approved/failed scale, is measured by the presence of trainees in each of the initiatives.

Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

Acquisition of introductory knowledge in the field of toxicology; development of competences in the field of phytotoxicology; toxicity and toxicokinetic mechanisms of xenobiotics and nanoparticles; forensic toxicology; classic abuse drugs; new psychoactive drugs and technical approach; acquisition of techniques in the field of toxicology.
