Training Course STEM learning by practice. The GLOBE experience
General Objectives of the Course
Provide training in the use of GLOBE Program protocols to carry out STEM activities in a school context. Understand the synergy between traditional observations, new technologies and learning through participatory methods.Admission Requirements

The final grade is attributed on a scale of 1 to 10 points, where: 1 to 4.9 points - Insufficient, 5 to 6.9 points - Regular; 7.0 to 7.9 points - Good; 8 to 8.9 points - Very Good; 9 to 10 points - Excellent.Learning Objectives and Intended Skills
At the end of the course, trainees should be able to: use the protocols of the GLOBE Program, especially those related to the biosphere and aquatic and riverine and coastal environments; use advanced technologies in a classroom context, namely the use of scientific instrumentation and Earth Observation data. It is intended that the trainees acquire: (i) Skills in the practical collection of data in the field, (ii) Ability to use GLOBE protocols, (iii) Understand the synergy between traditional observations, new technologies and learning through participatory methods, (iv) Practical application of theoretical knowledge and GLOBE protocols, planning and development of practical work in a classroom context. It is also intended to stimulate interest and concern with the collection of data related to Earth Observation.Qualification Requirements and Regulations
