Learning Objectives and Intended Skills

At the end of the course, the student should be able to: a) Know the history of quality in general and the particular case of health; b) Know the basic concepts on patient safety; c) Identify principles of the quality accreditation system; d) Understand the concept of medical error; e) Interpret basic notions of health economics and its implication on the results and patient satisfaction; f) Make decisions based on health literacy acquired.
